The team at Tampa Bay Water District had been using a combination of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, InfoPath and SharePoint, along with a custom database application built by their in-house IT department back in 2000. The lack of integration among various tools and legacy systems made managing capital projects inefficient and error-prone.
